Kevin Becker, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Kevin Becker is responsible for the firm’s overall strategy. Prior to founding Kiski, Kevin served as CIO of Duff Capital Advisors. Previously, Kevin founded and managed Claiborne Capital Group, a long/short equity hedge fund, serving as both CEO and CIO. Before launching Claiborne, Kevin was a Managing Director at SAC Capital Management, where he managed a long/short equity portfolio and co-developed SAC’s European business. Prior to SAC, Kevin was a Managing Director at Tiger Management, responsible for Tiger’s public equities portfolio in the industrials and cyclicals sectors. He joined Tiger from Morgan Stanley. Kevin earned a BA from the University of Notre Dame, with majors in the Great Books Program and Computer Applications.
Jack Zimmermann, Managing Director & Head of Global Business Development, Co-Founder
Jack Zimmermann is responsible for global distribution and managing Kiski’s sales and business development team. Prior to Kiski, Jack was head of the client advisory group at Duff Capital Advisors. Prior to Duff, he was a Managing Director in the client advisory group at FrontPoint Partners, where he was responsible for several sector-specific equity funds, including FrontPoint Japan and the FrontPoint Asia Pacific Fund. Prior to FrontPoint, Jack was President and Managing Director of Van Kampen Funds Distribution Company and President of Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s proprietary distribution. Prior to joining Van Kampen, he was a manager at Procter & Gamble. Jack earned an MBA from Loyola University and received a BA in Economics from Wheaton College.
Justin Wunderlich, Managing Director & Head of Client Service, Co-Founder
Justin Wunderlich is responsible for implementation of our risk and analytics suite of services. Prior to Kiski, Justin served as Managing Director in the Investment Strategy Group of Duff Capital Advisors. Prior to Duff, he founded JCW Strategies LLC, a macro strategy firm advising investment managers with a combined $6 billion in assets under advisory. In conjunction with his clients, he developed fundamental and technical analytical tools that aided in the evaluation of a manager's investment process. Previously, Justin worked as a Senior Analyst at Claiborne Capital Group, where he generated long and short ideas for the long/short equity hedge fund. Justin began his investment career at Gruntal & Co, where he served as an associate in the technical strategy group.
Adam Schlisman, CFA, Chief Operating Officer
Adam Schlisman is responsible for overseeing all business operations within the company. Prior to joining Kiski in 2014, Adam spent 10 years at Graham Capital Management, an $8 billion global diversified hedge fund, serving as portfolio manager in his most recent five years. His responsibilities included trading, strategy implementation, and risk management alongside managing his own carve-out of capital for a $1bn Fixed Income RV/ Macro mandate. Prior to that, Adam spent four years in risk management, working side by side with Graham’s Chief Risk Officer overseeing all discretionary and systematic strategies. In his first year at Graham, Adam was a short-term/high frequency systems analyst. Adam received his BS from Bentley University, graduating cum laude.
Jon Orvik, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer
Jon Orvik joined Kiski from PAMLI Capital Management where was CFO and CCO. Prior to this he served as Director of product development and management for the Citi Fixed Income Alternatives group of Citigroup Alternative Investments. Before this time, Jon was the CFO of a structured finance unit and Head of Market Risk and Product Control at National Australia Bank, having previously spent over seven years at Dexia and PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior banking and tax professional with their Global Structured Finance group. He received a BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, a JD from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Ding Ding, Vice President
Prior to Kiski, Ding worked at Taikang Life Insurance Company as a part of the risk management and product design team. Prior to that, she was with Deutsche Boerse where she served as an analyst on the IPO team. In these roles, Ding has worked quantitatively with equities, fixed income and insurance products. Ding has an M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University. She earned both B.Com and M.Com in Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University in Australia. She is a candidate of the associate of the Society of Actuaries.
Michael Gaffey, Analyst
Michael joined Kiski in August 2017 after spending the previous three summers as an intern. As an analyst, Michael helps develop Kiski’s lineup of alpha products and designs bespoke analytics for asset management clients. He graduated with honors from the University of Chicago in June 2017, receiving a BA in Economics.
Charlie Ascher, Analyst
Charlie joined the Kiski team full time in August 2017 after working as a summer intern in 2016. As an analyst, Charlie helps provide research and custom solutions to clients and prospective clients while working on a number of development projects. Prior to joining Kiski, Charlie interned for one summer at Global Credit Services, a business-to-business credit rating firm, and wrote for five summers at Hemmings Motor News, a collectible automobile magazine. Charlie graduated magna cum laude with a BA in History and Economics from Middlebury College in 2017.
Lynn Bou Nasif, Analyst
Prior to joining Kiski in June 2018, Lynn worked as a Research Assistant while pursuing an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. She received her B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, graduating magna cum laude.
Scott Lee, Developer
Scott joined Kiski in June 2019. As an analyst, he helps develop client-facing technology products and internal development tools. Before joining the team, he worked as an equity options trader at Marathon Trading LLC. He received a BAS in Computer Science and BS in Finance/Statistics from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and the Wharton School, respectively.
